December 15, 2011
It is hard to believe that 2011 is almost over. As I look back on this past year, I am reminded of the many ways we have seen God work. We added a Sunday school service this past summer. We have seen numerous visitors and souls saved. We saw a young couple come, get saved, and then be the first to get married in our church. We also welcomed two precious babies into our church family.
Before Thanksgiving, I preached a sermon, out of Psalm 148, on “Praising God.” I challenged everyone in our church to praise God for three different things every morning, for a week, and see if they had a better week. If you don’t already do this, I would challenge you to do the same. Keri and I have started doing it with our kids so that they can learn now, to praise God for everything, even the little things. On November 20th, we had our annual church Thanksgiving dinner at our house. We had 14 stay to eat. It was a great time of fellowship! On December 22nd, we are looking forward to our Christmas get together following Bible Study. We will be having cookies and hot cocoa.
I ask that you keep me in your prayers. I fell at work two weeks ago, and hurt my back. I have to go to physical therapy three times a week, and am limited to what I am allowed to do at work. I was only able to start the physical therapy this week, so please pray that I will heal quickly. I also ask that you keep Tiffany in your prayers. Since September, she has had four ear infections. We have to take her to see an Ear, Nose, and Throat Specialist on the 28th, to see about getting tubes put in her ears.
In closing, Keri and I would like to say thank you, again, for your continued prayers and support. Without you, we would not have been able to see all we’ve seen done for Christ! We look forward to seeing what God has planned for us in 2012.
From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to wish you all a
VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS & A BLESSED NEW YEAR!!
